Holiday cocktail for the welcome party, NYE festive formal for the main event -bring on the sparkles, metallics, sequins!

The main events (welcome party, ceremony, and reception) will all be indoors and fully heated, but there will be short walks outside in between events. We are also planning on several outdoor activities on Wednesday during the day (weather-dependent), so please bring cozy, comfortable clothing as well! 

For the brave, there will be an ice plunge so bring a bathing suit.

Cedar Lakes has cozy cabins and cottages available right on-site.  We also have a great option at the Hampton Inn just 15 minutes away, as well as beautiful Air BnBs overlooking the Hudson Valley.

Your invitation will specify your lodging option, and for those staying at the Hampton Inn, convenient shuttle services will be provided to ensure seamless travel to and from the venue.scription text goes here

The venue is within a two hour drive from all NYC area airports. However Newark (EWR) will be your best bet.

In addition to the welcome dinner and the main reception, we will be providing breakfast and lunch on Wednesday the 31st and a brunch on Thursday the 1st (plus a few other surprises throughout the event)! There is a small market / cafe on campus but there are no restaurants nearby. There are small kitchenettes at most of the accommodations if you’d like to bring extra food or beverages (you know who you are), but certainly not necessary.   

Indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) recreational amenities include sledding, ice skating, curling, snow shoeing, hiking, tennis/pickle, basketball, lawn games, and relaxing by the bonfire.

There are also several cozy hideaways to watch football (where you’ll likely find the fathers of the bride and groom, especially if Ohio St is playing).  

We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only affair.
